Nokia to resume assembly outsourcing in 2010

HELSINKI, FINLAND: Top mobile phone maker Nokia will restart the use of subcontractors in assembly this year as phone market recovers, after ending all outsourcing of assembly work last year, the firm said on Tuesday.

Based on previously announced decisions of the Board of Directors to issue shares held by the Company, 43 692 Nokia shares held by the Company are today transferred to 27 participants of Nokia's equity-based incentive plans as settlement in accordance with the plan rules.
